Google: Creative Sandbox Touch Table

Sparks approached PUSH Offices to collaborate on their “Google Creative Sandbox Touch Table” project that was debuted at Google Sandbox Events.

The multi-touch table allows visitors to experience individual Creative Sandbox projects in a group setting with the goal of promoting discovery, discussion, and what Sparks calls “shoulder to shoulder” interaction.

The projects in the creative sandbox broke down into several groups that each use a certain type of technology “building blocks”. Video, Social, Mobile, GEO APIs, Search, Display, Web/Apps, Commerce. Each of these groups had a physical “block” that when placed on the table revealed the projects in that specific group.

Users could expand a project from “thumbnail view” to “detail view” to learn more about it. In “detail view” users were be able to swipe through areas of information about different aspects of the project.
